If it's true, then Freddie Roach was right. He said Dana White will use James Toney to prove that boxing is inferior to MMA. The only thing is most people with an ounce of common sense would know that doesn't prove ****. Taking a great, pure boxer who happens to be overweight, old, and not one MMA fight under his belt against a UFC legend who seems to be getting better with age in an MMA rules match.

Dana White wouldn't even put his best fighter Anderson Silva against an old, shot Roy Jones Jr. in a boxing match, but now he's considering putting Toney vs. Couture together.

Chuck Liddell said he wants to fight Toney. Liddell actually said if he can't fight Toney, the UFC should put Toney in there with a wrestler or submission expert. Chuck knows Toney would knock the hell out of a striker, including himself. If Liddell and Toney fought, this would be a rare moment where Chuck takes the fight to the ground. He would win easily because of his wrestling background, but there is knows way he's dumb enough to trade hands with Toney.

Yeah Dana wants to really embarass Toney. Plus,Toney's big ass mouth has been calling for the big dogs. It appears Toney has to lie in the bed he's made. Couture's never heard the **** talking he's got coming his way. If it happens of course.

Chuck's ego is too big to take down Toney. He would love to KO a former champ and future boxing Hall Of Famer. If Chuck wouldnt kick,I would actually give Toney a good chance. Toney's hands are way better than Liddell's.

Even in Chuck's prime, he wouldn't be able beat Toney by punching.

That is true, his chin isn't all that.

I see that cornball trying to take him to the ground ASAP and lay on him and just tire him out. At some point, he'll feel comfortable enough to stand against a tired JT.

JT has a good punchers' chance. Wrestlers have to telegraph their takedowns so much it's not even funny. Even a shot Toney stands a great chance, a capable counter puncher should be able to counter one of these jokers.
Couture is a Greco Roman wrestler, he doesn't really shoot at your legs for takedowns. He'll get you in a clinch and take you down. He controlled 290lb Lesnar in the clinch and is also great at dirty boxing & elbowing on the inside which i imagine Toney will be kinda lost with if they do get tied up.
