One thing Im curious about that Forbes said. If floyd is the hardest worker Forbes has ever seen, how come he couldn't make 144? Unless it was on purpose of course. Hmmmmmmm........

No sparring partner can duplicate what floyd can do. Same goes for Pac. I doubt sparring with forbes would help Mosley out.

No hating at all. Just something to think about.

Forbes can shoulder roll. He may not be able to duplicate Floyd's style, but he definitely could have helped Mosley to learn how to neutralize the shoulder roll. Zab Judah can also throw a lot of fast, accurate punches from weird angles from the south paw stance just like Manny.

They may not be able to completely duplicate the styles, but sparring partners like them are very useful when preparing for fighters like Floyd and Manny.

I dont think Zab has the footwork Pac does. I think that gives Pac's opponents alot of problems. He's constantly darting in and back out at weird angles. True,Zab does have the southpaw and handspeed of Pac.

There is nothing to think about. He is a legit true WW now. He has grown into the WW division. This man is no longer a small WW, he is a true WW. He couldn't make 144 that is all. Doesn't mean he doesn't work hard...

I question Floyd a lot. I get on Floyd with choice of oppositions. But, one thing I respect about that man and something I would never question. Is his work ethic, his discipline, dedication, he doesn't take anybody lightly. He could fight me and he would train just as hard for me as he would be if he was fighting Vitaly Klitschko...

You can't question the man work ethic... Floyd, Pac, and Hopkins are the three hardest working fighters in the game... You can put them in any order that you want...

And, I am not even a Floyd fan... I might even be a hater

Anyone who watches Floyd knows he's a hard worker. Him, Bernard Hopkins and Shane Mosley are the biggest gym **** in the sport. Even with a two year layoff he was still in great shape. Making catch weights isn't always the easiest thing to do. Just look at what losing 4lbs did to Oscar De La Hoya's body before his fight with Steve Forbes (not saying this is what happened with Floyd, but nobody ever stops to think about the possibility). You act like he pulled a Jose Luis Castillo or a Joan Guzman...So either you're hating, or you just don't know.

EDIT: Wow...jrosales basically posted the same exact thing as me.

Good read. Forbes should think about fighting Alexander.
