Either man should get all the credit in the world for beating the other. This is the truest match-up at 147, and the winner should be ranked as the best without question.

That's all true IMDAZED. Not an easy fight for Mayweather and one he could lose. Best match up at 147 since Cotto-Margarito. I see extreme comments from all sides. From" Floyd will beat him easy" which I think is unrealistic. To "Mosley is shot" which is an early excuse if Mayweather wins. I've also seen "Mosley knocks out Mayweather because Mayweather has no chin and doesn't like to get hit" As if any fighter does. Some people are too biased in both ways. Claiming that Mosley will be easy or that Mosley is shot. This is a very competitive match up. Even Mayweather's trainers acknowledge this. Funny thing is some of the same people that think Mosley is shot were talking about how great a fight between Mosley and Pacquaio would be. But he's shot for Mayweather. Go figure. If Mayweather wins he'll get credit from people who watch the sport minus the biased immature emotions.

No he didn't. You probably did though.

They don't give credit to DLH for beating Whitaker and Chavez. The same should apply with Mayweather with his *****s.
Oscar was also in his prime at the time. Mayweather is not. And both Chavez and Whitaker had less in the tank that Mosley has now. if you look at the history of their fights prior to fighting Oscar you'll see that yourself.

If he wins it will be a good name on his record, but there are alot of people that give B-Hop credit for beating Jones Jr. and Jeff Fenech credit for beating Azumah Nelson in ther third bout, I guess it depends on how tou define "credit".

Well he'll get more credit than any win he's had in the past 8 years. But not beyond the call of duty.

Also add in the fact that he didn't beat Whitaker

He should get credit. It is not an easy fight... This is the first that I have felt since the Castillo rematch that the opponent has a chance to beat Floyd.... I gave fighters from Sosa to JMM and every single fighter in between ZERO chance to beat Floyd... And, even though I am predicting Floyd to win this fight. I think he will pull it off. I am giving Shane a great chance of winning also...

I wouldn't be shocked if Shane won, I wouldn't call it a big upset if Shane beat Floyd. And, I respect for Floyd for taking this fight. I think he is finally taking a risky fight since the Castillo rematch... So me personally I am giving him the up most credit for this fight... And, if he wins it ranks up there with the Corrales, Castillo, Chicanito wins...
