Fighting Mosley is bigger than fighting Pacquiao at this point as I regard Shane as the #1 WW champion. I've never underestimated or questioned Floyd's boxing abilities. He got credit from me when he was fighting and beating the compitition handed too him and he will undoubtly get credit from me if he wins against Shane. Even if it doesn't go his way, I'll still regard him as one of the best fighters in the history of this sport. This is only from a boxing perspective - I don't care what he does out of the ring...unless if it's assaulting people end stabbing them (Valero...).

Who cares if he gets credit? He is getting paid alot of money correct? That's what he cares about correct?

He will get to put another big name on his resume, who is one of, if not the top Welterweight correct?

That's all there is to it, seeking full approval from all fans is like a Presdiential candidate seeking the whole country to vote for him, it's never going to happen.

Yes and he also said that this fight is between the two best welterweights of this era. He also said that Mosley is talanted, although not God gifted like him.

He also said he would love to put Mosley's name on his resume.

But that's besides the point, nobody should take into account what a fighter says when judging their body work as a fighter. It's ******. If you believe that Mosley is washed up and that Floyd shouldn't have fought him, then fine. Just be consistant with your views unstead of scream "Floyd is ducking MOsley" one second and callling him washed up the next.

Floyd said hes a Hall of famer and one of the greatest WW's ever or did you miss that part?

Shane also called Floyd a JWW with no belt.

So shane gets no credit for fighting the smaller man?

              Be consistent.

Why wouldn't he? People need to get over the Pac fight. Shane is the man to beat at WW.

                    hell no!!!

Judah was too fast, baldomir was too big, Oscar was smi-retired, and hatton had the style and he got no credit for them. expect him to get none for Mosley!

WHY should Mayweather get credit for beating a 38 year old Mosley who is out of his prime???
They don't give credit to DLH for beating Whitaker and Chavez. The same should apply with Mayweather with his *****s.
