Why are so many boxers woman beaters?

The same reason some women hit their husband. Somewhat off topic but I found the whole Tiger Woods affair funny, all he did was sleep with a bunch of women, she attacked him with golf clubs and made him crash his car, no one gave a **** about that, yet Woods was vilified for his affairs.

I personally don't think hitting a woman is any worse than hitting someone who his physically weaker and smaller than you. I would never hit my partner because it is unbecoming of a gentleman but I can at times understand why someone would hit their partner because I have been in a situation where I wanted to strangle my ex.

If I married Halle Berry, lived in a Mansion, had pocket money of 50k a week or some ****. Do you really think I'd give a **** if she had an affair. I'd simply switch to the rubber and request an open relationship.

The woman has no business feeling upset, 5 years isn't a long enough period of time to feel like the person is your soul mate and what not. She had a life many people would kill for.

This seems to be common in wrestling as well. Stone Cold Steve Austin used to beat the hell out of his beautiful wife Debra, Chris Benoit murdered his wife and kid.....

I think it has something to do with women being more likely to stand up to these macho bastards than the regular yes-men do.. Women arent afraid and will say anything ,

I have told my very own sister when she hit her man at the time don't hit no man because he would be right to hit you back. I Not saying I would be ok with him hitting her back but he would be within his right to do so. I respect him a lot because he controlled himself and didn't hit her.

Most pro boxers are poor/working class men who grew up in less than ideal conditions. They have seen this kind of behavior their whole lives. When they make it big and have problems with their wives they do the exact same things they saw when they were young. Its no different from any man that beats women.

- Jake Lamotta said he regularly beat up and was abusive toward his wife

- Edwin Valero's wife was severely beaten and eventually mundered

There are many more examples. This seems more common with boxers than other athletes, I wonder why? Perhaps pugalistic dementia is the cause?

Tyson hitting Givens is bull****, that caniving whore is the one that set off Mike on his downfall.

We have to remember that boxers fight for a living, it's not not shocking for them to hit someone as they do this for a living.
