This isn't a flyweight fight homie. Styles change as body composition does. The dude is gonna fight like he did against Rosas all the way to Ciso.

A common theme from Montiel in all the fights I have seen is he likes to drop his hands low when going on the offensive and also leaves his mouth open. Both of which are no-nos when fighting someone like Hozumi Hasegawa.

I'll bet your bank that Hozumi wins.

no, im actually pulling for hozumi to win and i favor him slightly. i just think you're underestimating montiel and arent very knowledgeable about what he's capable of doing in the ring.

Montiel struggles with southpaw's. Hasegawa is the best out there. Montiel will most definitely give him a fight, but will probably get stopped around the 8th.

I'm routing for Montiel though. War Cochulito!!!

Wow I didn't even know they were fighting. Everybody seems to be fixated on floyd v ssm. Honestly i'm more excited about this fight.

              War Hasegawa!

If not mistaken Team Hasegawa tap Micheal Domingo to be his sparring partner...

                With this I'm just wandering..

What if Montiel fought Domingo(he turned him down) instead of Morales?

I have hasegawa winning this. I expect Montiel to bring it, but he's outgunned here. His time may be almost up. Hasegawa's is just beginning. I don't think he gets embarrassed by any means, but Hasegawa will win clearly.
