Damn Hasegawa didn't even have to try and get into his head.

He thinks hes gotta train harder than hes ever trained before.

      Montiel is worried.

Buts its hard not to blame him.

this is going to be a awesome fight, i'm predicting fight of the year with this one.

and if i had to pick, i have to stand by montiel because i've been a fan of his longer, it wasn't until a year and some change ago did i start to watch and pay attention to hasegawa, he's a beast, so this fight is going to be off the charts!

I didn't know the fight was already taking place in a week.

Montiel needs to be careful sparring 15 rounds close to the fight. Naazim (or Shane) said that the week before the fight is to taper down training and rest, not to rev it up.

If he continues, he's risking coming in flat, which will get him his ass beat easy. Montiel coming in top shape, gives himself a great chance at winning, he's one of the most explosive fighters in the lower weight classes.

Sparring 15 rounds don't matter when your going to sleep in 6. lol

Nah but seriously. I don't think Montiel will win. Well besides being biased on this one, Montiel just doesn't bring anything to the table to bring it to Hozumi. Montiel's style is just built for Hozumi, he will eat the same combo in my sig and go to sleep. Watch.

montiel doesnt just have one style though. hes very versatile.
how is montiel's style built for hozumi's?

if hozumi tries to hook with montiel, hozumi will be the one going to sleep.

No way man. I watched a couple of fights on Montiel and he likes to plot and slide over to opponents all slow-like and then make up for no footwork with really fast hands.

The problem is, Hozumi's footwork will make the difference. He is an angel on his feet and gets in and gone quickly. Hozumi's hands are also very fast and he has deceptive power. His punches look soft when they come at opponents but thats because he punches without a clenched fist, open hands.

Montiel doesn't even really have any head movement which is what frustrates Hozumi the most. Montiel will stare down the left straight, get stunned and try to use that left hook to the body like he always does for counters and catch the right hook across the chin and take a dirt nap.

                    Watch.
