Bute throws 1 punch at a ****ing time, gtfo.

He doesn't even engage first. He's a counter puncher
he might not be a good a combination puncher than martinez, but when martinez comes lunging in, you better believe bute is gonna throw the right punch at the right time to KO martinez. bute KOed andrade and miranda with one punch. he didn't need combos.

this is a ****** fight. 160 lbs is as far as martinez can go, and that's because 160 lbs is a particularly shallow division.

SoldierWarrior, I didn't realise that by talking about a possible Martinez vs Bute fight, you would PMS all over my thread. Chill the **** out. I actually think Bute would win, but it would be a great match up. Martinez is definately a live dog in this one.

Oh, believe me, i dont think this is a good fight for martinez, ever. Martinez would weigh in 165ish, come in 169ish.. bute would weigh 185 fight night.

On top of that, as i described butes style earliar, its all wrong for Sergi. Sergi would come in, hands down, lunging body foward whilst punching (as always) and the bute counter uppercut seals the deal.

The mans a counter puncher, and a pretty precise one.

You gotta at least consider that Martinez is smart enough to know that Bute's left uppercut is a deadly punch and that he is skilled enough to put forward a gameplan to avoid this punch.

every punch bute throws against martinez is deadly. if martinez is smart he doesn't even entertain this fight.

martinez doesn't have a gameplan. he fights the same way everytime.

circles on the outside and every now and then lunges inside to throw combos. I've never seen him do anything different.

At some point, in order to prove that he is a real p4p fighter, Bute will have to face an opponent with alot of ability or at the very least a fast handed opponent. He will also have to prove that he is able to throw power punches with his right hand as well as his left. I'm from Montreal and I'm a huge Bute fan, probably more than some of his fans that got all flustered in this thread... I've seen most Bute fights since 2004 and I've been to 4 of his fights live.
