Why try to be offensive lol, you tell us not to judge him then tell EVERYONE on the board that they havn't been through what he has, you think Valero had the worst life in the world ?.
I'm sure plenty of people have had worse and made it through.

Besides I'm sure everyone on this forum wants to tell everyone else about all the bad things in their life, use some common sense.

Why would they need to, its nobody else's business. I got stabbed 4 times when I was a freshmen in high school and almost lost my life, that could of ****ed me up mentally but I fought through it. People can take on the worst that life has to offer without doing drugs or taking it out on other people.

First off, You cant judge this man. How many people here have #1 experienced his up-bringing? rough childhood mixed with experimenting with coke at the age of 12. #2 Been in a devastating accident that almost killed you and got a blood clot on your brain and got brain damage because of it? And another 10 years of drug/alcohol abuse.



Im sick of everyone talking **** about the guy. He is a boxer for god sakes, Support this guy. Not as the guy he was outside the ring, support the Edwin Valero who was in the ring and as a boxer. I fkn miss Edwin Valero man even tho ive never met or known him. Ive been a fan of his for 4 years and I almost cried when I heard about when he committed the murder then when he committed suicide.

I do not support what he did to his wife. Me and everyone else on this board agree that it was ****** to do that. But we all have to think, If we had the same up-bringing as Edwin wouldnt we be going through the same **** he went through? The guy wasnt the way he was on choice. He had a rough life and mixed with psycological problems that is horrible for one to deal with.


We cannot judge one person without walking in the same shoes as that person

You can all hate me and flame me all you want. Edwin at heart was a good guy but dont judge a guy on his actions when they have mental problems. Never judge a person without walking in the same shoes as them.

Kiss my ass, I'll judge him all I want, I don't have any skeletons like this in my closet that prevent me from judging something like this. Boxing is not more important than life, and in his life the guy was a psycho that beat his family and eventually killed his wife. He was sane enough to know what he did was wrong and he should have never done it, and too big a coward to face punishment. He deserved far worse than hanging in a cell.

He was not at his heart a good person, and to say people should be in his situation in order to understand it is ridiculous. Many people grow up rough and aren't pieces of sh** like Valero.

I met him a few times

he wasnt a good guy

he was at best okay

and while I understand your logic about what should matter is what's in the ring

the man not only took down an innocent victim he took away the parents of two kids who did not deserve that

Not everyone can be morally correct and sane like bojangles..people came up and react differently to certain situations..u don't always make the right choices yourself..so what makes u better?..

What makes me better? I DON'T BEAT MY FAMILY. I HAVE NEVER KILLED SOMEONE. Quite simple. Just because not everyone can make all the right decisions doesn't mean we should just forgive them when they do something completely unforgivable like Valero did. Plenty of people have been in situations like Valero and not done what he did.

My mother dated someone who beat her and robbed liquor stores, yet somehow I find myself NOT beating women and robbing liquor stores. Know why? I'm not a piece of sh**. Valero was.
