This guy could have been Venezuela's own Pacquiao, He could have brought on positives to his country like Pacquiao did for Phillipines.

It is a sad tragedy. People are crying in Venezuela because it's a sad story and they've lost their best fighter.

            It's really that simple.

What Valero did was wrong, and believe me I don't condone or write off what he did at all. It doesn't mean it's not a sad day for those that supported him.

Hopefully Jorge Linares continues Valero's legacy by inspiring more Venezuelan boxers in the future.

People need to shut up already seriously, people want to say things about him going to hell, well guess what buddy, if you wanna be religious then we're all going to hell, you dont go to heaven by just having good deeds, you ignorant fools, do you guys know scripture? R.I.P Valero, and another thing is people want to talk so much crap but the real criminal here is DRUGS, they DONT respect anybody or anyone no matter what social class you're in or how much money you got, this is an example of how drugs ruin and DESTROY lives, it's a sad story, don't care what anyone else says with their ignorant views, i hear some people say "oh i was hooked on drugs before but never killed anyone" well good for you, the only reason why you quit drugs is because sooner or later you knew they were gonna destroy you, so stop acting all righteous, you guys are not God, Valero only has to answer to GOD, not human beings...The Holy book says have you ever had anger towards someone? then you're a murderer at heart, have you ever lusted after a woman? that makes an adulterer, ALL Humans are sinners at heart, R.I.P Champ Valero and rest in peace Jennifer.

This guy represented them as a people and what he did was tragic and it hurts them as a people. There are a lot of children on Boxingscene- that's apparent. If you want to call Valero a piece of **** and hope he rots in hell, so be it. But don't criticize and judge the people for mourning this trajedy. We all have our own ways in dealing with grief. Show some class.

When your balls drop, maybe then you'll understand just how dynamic these situations and life in general can really be.
the dude just murdered his wife. that beautiful little girl that was with her at the demarco fight has 2 grow up without a mom now because her dad was a drunk and did drugs. does that sound fair 2 you? it aint about being a kid its about not feelin bad over a guy that killed himself after he killed his wife in a drunkin rage. ima cop, and we always see charges being droped against abusive husbands and boyfriends out of fear by the women like what happened here and when you end up finding out she gets killed by her husband 2-3 months later, it really gives you a sick feeling. its different to have a fight with your girl, **** happens but im talkin about abuse. not fighting, valero used 2 abuse that girl. **** him!!!

Empathizing with the family and wishing brimstone on Valero himself is cool and all, but beside the point. Your original post, the one I quoted, was condemning the Venezuelan people who attended his funeral. All I'm saying is let them handle their grief and mourn this tragedy. It doesn't necessarily mean they're celebrating him as a hero. You being a cop, I'm sure you have a lot of emotions based on experience in issues like this, so I apologize if I seemed to question your person. But these people have gone through enough and in the end, no matter what kind of man he was, Valero was still someones son, brother, uncle, father, hero......
