Hope at the very least that he put aside money for the kids, don't know exactly what his total earnings were or who was handling his money but would be nice to hear that they have a good chunk of change for them.I guess it's wishful thinking though.I don't wish death upon no one but it's a wonder that Johnny tapia is STILL alive..god bless the kids!!

RIP Edwin. I never knew the man but i knew the boxer and i really liked him. I watched all of your fights and training clips, i was one of your fans! I dont like to judge people especially without knowing them and the facts of a situation but it's become obvious you needed help and im just so sorry you didnt get it in time. You had a gift and it was a pleasure to see, it's just so unfortunate things ended up this way. I know how dark life can get and what depression and substance abuse can do to a man, it almost destroyed me i cant believe it destroyed you. I'd be lying if i said i wasnt feeling sad today i wanted you to win! beat the odds! prove people wrong! I loved your style in the ring and i'll miss seeing you box again. This is a terrible tragedy as you can see by the photos. I think people need to bury the whole "Valero is a piece of ****" thing. He was mentally disturbed and addicted to drugs and alcohol. He apparently was seeking help but not soon enough. His wife and him are dead.

This is sad.

wow, so thats how things work over there huh???? guy is a drunk and a cokehead, beats the **** out of his wife, kills her in a drunkin rage a month later. takes the ***** way out by killin himself and hes a ****in hero 2 these people???? seein this **** just made me sick. idk wtf is wrong with people now in days.
