Did Kotelnik rock Khan at all in their fight?

I never got to watch this fight. Khan's chin was clearly plastic during his lightweight days but I'm very curious to see if the move up in weight helped him at all. Dmitry Salita got his ass kicked and I doubt he landed any good punches so I can't measure based on that fight, but Kotelnik on the other hand went 12 full rounds with Khan and and was the only other JWW he fought. Did Kotelnik get to land anything meaningful in the fight, and if so did it stun Khan or push him back a little further than usual, like what Barrera's punches did or even what Prescott's baby jabs did before the deadly punch?

Khan's chin will be exposed again soon. His team knows he is ridicuously vulnerale to punchers. I mean Roach had him develop the most tortoise like defense I have ever seen for that fight against Kotelnik who is a serious non-puncher.

Put it this way. If Malignaggi got his 6th career KO against against it wouldnt suprise me at all.

Yeah I know Barrera caught him good, but that was at lightweight where his chin was clearly plastic. I want to know if he was ever rocked at 140.

na Kotelnik didnt rock him at all,he does have a week chin but not as bad people make it out to be on here,Kotelnik is a good tough fighter but anybody with very good speed and a game plan beats him,he would still give alot of 140 a very good fight imo

What? a 35 year old former 122lber? who was like half a foot shorter than Khan? And was never even a big puncher in the first place?

            Like that proves anything

Khan didn't get rocked by Kotelnik at any point, but he did tire dramatically towards the end of the fight and looked like he was on shaky legs. Not a good sign. I would imagine a year later that they've fixed any such stamina problems, especially with Ariza onboard.

It landed flush, but didn't rock him. At the most he had to shuffle around just a bit to recompose himself. Perfectly normal. When you get "rocked" properly, it means one's legs visibly go out from underneath them and cause the fighter to wobble around. This is a misconception from the Prescott fight, too, when people say that Khan got "rocked with a jab". Totally false.

I remember Kotelnik landing a fair no. of shots, Khan took it but worryingly he wasn't hard to hit.

no the thing is kotelniks has to plant his feet everytime to punch and khan just kept moving and keeping him off balance...plus he wasnt a big puncher...styles make fights...just because khans gotta glass chin doesnt mean everyone will hurt him....

Sorry I don't get your point dude, I was just pointing something out. I'm not defending Khan's chin. He was almost ko'd by Willie Limmond.
