I think Kotelnik had planned to move up to WW earlier than this offer and he might stick to it. Doesn't seem like he would want to fight Alexander before a tune-up fight. That means that Alexander has to look for someone else, perhaps Judah? Why did they not talk to Judah instead of Kotelnik? What is up with Judah these days?

Judah was practically begging for this fight. If anyone's to blame, its either Team Alexander or the promoter.

But honestly it's like that here in St.Louis people don't play these games and if they feel someone is bull****in they will say something on the drop of a dime.
i honestly don't think kotelnik is playing games. he's coming off a loss and is playing musical chairs with promoters. I think a tune wouldn't be such a bad idea.

alexander should let kotelnik get a win before they fight him anyways. why fight kick someone while their down.

yep, judah even pulled a mosley and walked in on alexander's interview.

if what kotelnik is seen as disrespectful in st. louis, then what judah did has to have pissed off team alexander.

zab is still a big name and a threat for 4-5 rounds. also, zab has history w/ st. louis and that's an interesting storyline to sell the fight.

I gotta agree w/ you tho. bradley says everyone is ducking him, but when he names the people that are ducking him he always fails to mention devon.

If he doesn't take the fight he won't get another shot at it, he's either a fighter or he isn't. He is a pro and has to fight someone at some point, why not go for a big fight? Imagine his confidence boost if he wins?

Judah is well respected here many like that he was willing to come here and be a man and fight like he did with Spinks...if that fight is made people will buy the **** out of it, we never get big fights here and judah would pack the house with Alexander.

maybe not at alexander but at another title / champion.

                he's either a fighter or he isn't.
just cause he chose not to fight devon doesn't mean he isn't one

He is a pro and has to fight someone at some point, why not go for a big fight?
uh... why would kotelnik rush himself into a big fight against a dangerous opponent like alexander when he isn't ready? I mean, devon isn't gonna fight martinez at 154 just cause martinez offers him the opportunity.

Imagine his confidence boost if he wins?
if he doesn't go into the fight confident that he's 100% prepared he's already lost.

I find it funny that people get more upset over words than they did about a man murdering his wife.
