If Froch beats Kessler, he will have a better resume then Calzaghe

I'd say it would be comparable. Still give the slight edge to Calzaghe though. BHop was still one tough son of a ***** when Calzaghe fought him. I feel that is a great and somewhat underrated win.

You gotta remember that a lot of Joe's greatness wasn't related to his resume. He put on some great performances and had great skills. I do agree that he has a weakish resume for a great fighter though.

Calzaghe already beat Kessler like 3 years ago, when Kessler was in his prime and undefeated with more confidence.

Robin Reid shouldn't count as a good win for Froch, he was years past his prime. Froch was basically fighting a corpse.

Pascal was a good win, so too was Taylor. Win over Dirrell wasn't really that great and if he does beat Kessler, he beats a Kessler that wasn't even half the fighter that Calzaghe fought.
