How can you say that? JuanMa's best wins are over a limited De Leon and Luevano. I remember when De Leon was champ he would get **** from everyone on how he was a one dimensional bum with a left hand. I'll give him Luevano, a good boxer. But other than that who else has he beaten to be considered great?

Gamboa has also been in far more boxing matches than Juanma . Gamb had a crazy amateur record.

By that logic though, Mtagwa went the distance and almost KO'ed Juanma at the end. Gamboa KO'ed him in 2 rounds.

              That logic has many holes.

Gamboa's promoters, Top Rank and Arena Box, are very interested in making that match, but the fight will ultimately come down to the money HBO puts on the table. If HBO's numbers don't make sense for fight, Gamboa's promoters will be forced to look for another opponent.

I agree. This is the reason why I consider both of them as rising prospects with belts. It doesn't matter if they haven't faced any real competition up to this point because as soon as you get a belt that goes out the window. I think they should fight each other and unify. Whatever happened to champs fighting champs, the best fighting the best?
