Either way Caballero is a big risk for anyone and for Gamboa to take such a fight so early in his career.

A bit but not exactly comparable to a young undefeated 154 contender taking a fight with Paul Williams when instead he could go after a belt holder like Yuri Foreman or Spinks (no offense to either fighter though)

True Gamboa has a young career but he's not really young himself. He relies alot on his athleticism and now's the time to fight the dangerous fights.

Right now I see Gamboa as the real deal, no need to be hyped, the guy has the skills to beat anyone right now, he would destroy Caballero with ease.
