If Oscar gave Floyd a hard time, what makes you think Mosley won't?

Mayweather vs Oscar was a WW vs a LMW.

Mayweather vs Mosley will be a WW vs a WW.

Mayorga gave Mosley hell, because he was fighting him at 154. Oscar, at this point, is bigger than Mosley which is why Mayorga's size didn't trouble him.

Mayweather is the smallest out of the 3 and faced Oscar at his proper weight which put him at a huge disadvantage. There was a bigger weight gap between Mayweather vs Oscar than Marquez vs Mayweather.

Oscar vs Floyd was close? LOL You can't lose by four rounds and have your opponent land double the amount of punches you did and expect the fight to be close. The judge who scored Oscar ahead must have been slow in the head or confused by Oscar punching air all night.

I honestly think the De La Hoya that Mayweather fought would have a very good chance against Mosley right now. It might even look like their second fight.

Even though Floyd clearly beat Oscar, I think Oscar's style was better suited to beat Floyd than Shane's is. For one Oscar had a brilliant jab and was able to use that to his advtange (Mosley has a good jab but not as good as Oscar's or Floyd's). Also Oscar is a pretty good body puncher wheras Shane is more of a head hunter. And head hunting gets you nowhere against Mayweather (Corrales, Judah, Hatton, Gatti, Corley).

Mosley hardly ever goes to the body. I can see him getting very frsutrated in this fight, and if he gets hit too much I think he might even get stopped.

            a) It wasn't a hard time

            b) That fight was at 154.

            c) Styles make fights

            d) Mosley will not be able to use his steroids against Mayweather like he did Oscar

good post. styles make fights. Oscar's Jab >>>>>>>>>>> SSM's Jab

and for the record TS I had floyd winning 8 rds to 4... not exactly what I would call barely winning but tomato/tomata

I am of the belief that De la Hoya didn't give PBF a hard time. I think the split decision was complete bull****. We all know judges don't always score fights correctly. That is not to say PBF vs Mosley won't be a good fight but PBF vs. De la Hoya was not even close really.

dlh had the win to be real but he did what he always do & that's stop fighting. Even fms said his son lost. With that being said the new floyd won't beat shane. That 20 punches a round will get him dragged

Thing is, Mosley has always been a better athlete than dlh and mosley is in better shape than DLH was when DLH fought floyd.

I don't see floyd dominating or KOing mosley. its gonna be a SD either way.

People are gonna say DLH has a jab. Well, like ****m say, you can't say mosley gotta do this or that because mosley brings his own problems to the table. mosley don't have to fight like dlh. And mosley at his best is enough to beat floyd. but mosley at his worst would lose to floyd, just like a floyd with 2 broken hands and a messed up shoulder would lose to mosley.

some of you mofos need to get your head out your asses
U contradict urself with the bolded.

If Mosely brings his own style then what does it have to do with Oscar?

The jab was significant because it was Oscars only effective weapon. SMM doesnt have much of a jab.
Plus Oscar vs Floyd wasnt close.
