Why Mosley win's on May 1

I guarantee you i can give more examples of the opposite

when I was 16 my trainer got in the ring with this ****y ass fake mike tyson dude at my gym. The guy was a knockout artist to some local degree. Maaaaan, my trainer almost knocked this guys head off. All clean punches, pivots, quick jabs and foot work. He purposley got in the corner the guy tried to rush him, he switched him around and smacked him in the ass when he tried to hit him. Guy almost went flying out the ring. I'll never forget it. That's the way I was taught to fight. Defense, and accuracy was key. I was never pressed to have a bunch of power in the gym. You could nuetralize power and nuetrlize speed, but you can't nuetralize skill. So you could keep all the muscles, my man.

1. If this was prime 147 Mosley I MIGHT favor him to win but its not
2. If Floyd elects to only fight in spurts I think it will frustrate Shane, and when was the last time he fought someone who didn't stand directly in front of him? (although Floyd better make sure he throws enuff to win rounds)
3. Shane's not a pressure fighter so I don't think he's gonna be beating up Floyd against the ropes and what not...he has to be able to get off with Floyd in the center of the ring and avoid swift counters...

Shane can deff win but I aint picking against Floyd...Shane can be timed...Cotto showed that at times...Mayorga was very awkard and Shane looked confused in there at times against him...I think it'll be a good fight with Floyd edging it in the championship rounds...

activity wont win this fight....clean punching will. floyd will land the majority of clean punches, and shane is the more "offensive minded" fighter, but he's not a paul williams or antonio margarito type, where they throw 100 punches, and can give the "illusion" they're doing damage.

IMO, if shane "outthrows" floyd, it won't be to an extent where its enough to give him rounds, let alone the fight....not when he's getting hit flush in his face.

First Bro ****m is a world class trainer this is not his first go round.Bro ****m is looking for flaws as good as May is every fighter has them.Thats why he is looking at old tapes of Floyd see the things he has been doing from then till now.I also disagree that only somebody young can beat Floyd Oscar was not younger and he damn near did it.The right Gameplan can beat Floyd and with Bro ****m in Mosleys corner he has a great shot to do so.

as much as I hate Winky's fight game I think he would have beat Floyd. Notice how these super talented guys succumb to these basic ass fighters. Roy got killed by a fundamental 1, 2 combo in Tarver twice. Shane and others many with Winky. Clottey would have done a hell of a lot better with Pac if his balls where in the ringwith him and not in Pacs reputation. Good defense and a jab goes a loooong way. I think that's why oscar did so well against floyd. His jab froze floyd for a few rounds that why he stayed in the fight. I think if u have a good jab and your quick to pull the trigger u can open floyd up for other things. But the thing is I've seen floyd adjust when he does get hit a lot. So then u would have to change your game plan. That's why he gets my respect.

winky is too big for mosley, for sure he would be too big for floyd.

agreed, but my point is that shane is not necessarily known as a "busy" fighter. he'll trade, but shane isn't the type of guy to overwhelm an opponent with activity, ALA a margarito or a PW.

"activity" won't be a factor in this particular fight anyway, considering an opponent throws far less against floyd, than they normally do, b/c he's such a quick and accurate couter-puncher....he kinda forces the opponent to "think" in the ring.

I can repect that good post.But bro ****m is looking at May's Flaws more then anything.Even tho they are far and in between they are there.I also believe we are in for a good fight I can't wait.

i think you are underestemating floyd skills and ring generalship

No way how can you he is a great fighter.But I do think alot of people overestimate him and what he has done in his career to a degree.I'm not saying he can't win I'm just giving some thoughts on why I think Mosley will win.I believe mosley is gonna make May fight.I also believe we are going to learn alot about may in this fight.

I just saying something similar to my coworker. I gave floyd a lot of respect for the Zab fight. Judah was stronger and just as fast as floyd and was whooping his ass for the first 4 rounds. When Floyd thru his hands up and walked judah down and started chipping him judah was about to cry. I prediction for the fight, Shane gets in some good work the early rounds, floyd turns into a rubics cube on his ass and starts pickin shane off, shane gets wreckless and loses by 1 or 2 points. I see it being competitive just don't see shane winning

u never know. mosley for sure throws more punches than floyd even if his punch output is lowered.

no doubt this fight is going 12. it's up to the judges and what they like. some judges might even pull in favor of floyd to make sure a pac/floyd fight happens next year.
