Juan Manuel Marquez should hang 'em up

No reason for him to keep on fighting. Theres no significant fight for him at 135 money or legacy wise. Juan Diaz or winner of Katsidis/Mitchell don't do anything for his pocket or legacy..

We all know JMM isn't going to fight one of the 140 killers like Bradley, Alexander or Khan. Thats why he pulled out of a potential clash with Khan where he could win his 4th weightclass world title what no other Mexican boxer has ever achieved. He knew Khan had a very good chance in beating him. Why else would he fight Juan Diaz for less money and less legacy recognition?

So the best thing for JMM to do, is to hang 'em up. He had a great career and he is a certified Hall Of Famer and maybe even an All Time Great.

he should run after all belt holders at the 135lbs then retire as the undisputed champ.

Yeah he's worked his career to be the best at 135

So he should just retire and leave it all behind?

          He owns anyone at 135

I agree and i think he is capable. Imagine if he was ever to test Valero?

He probably would have been able to put his streak to rest too, but yea i still belive marquez has alot in the tank, no one was asking for oscar de la hoyas retirement after bernard hopkins beat him?

Theres no shame in moving up in weight for that shot at glory, not to mention the pay day.

He should be commended for taking the risk, although with Floyd its a risk everyone wants to take because physically theres not alot on the line but financially, theres more than enough

I know, so why keep on fighting fighters who bring no money to the table and don't do anything for JMM's legacy?

I agree. Its a lose-lose situation for JMM if he fights the winner of that fight. If JMM beats them, people will say that he was supposed to beat them and if he loses people will question his legacy. So why bother?
