I wouldn't say it was a near stalemate. It was a close but clear win by Cotto by 2-3 rounds.

Fair enough. I'd say two and it seems you say three. Pretty close fight with Cotto forced to fight off his backfoot in the championship rounds. Mosley fought as if he had no strategy that night. I also think it's safe to say that Mosley would probably manhandle Cotto now and even a year ago. No need to downplay the version we will see on May 1. At his age, it's not good to be too active anyway. Plus, he's a vet and knows how to keep himself fresh. Like Shane says, "I'm on the Hopkins plan." so far it's working.
