Why is Martinez allowed to fight Marg but Pac gets crap for it?

Pac-Margarito= Disgrace of a fight.

Martinez-Margarito= Cant wait to see Marg beat up.

Martinez would be avenging a lose.

Pacquiao would be avoiding the biggest fight in the sport.

Honestly i'd be interested in seeing both fight Marg, but not as much as i want to see Pac/May. & what was pissing me off about the whole Marg/Pac situation was that it seemed that Arum wanted that fight to more then Pac/May.

I know you hardly ever give Williams any credit, but I can't say I don't disagree with the bold. I know Pavlik put P-Will through some hardship with those cancellations. But it's Martinez that's gonna get the big money fights now after having all the belts and not P-Will. I don't know if anybody knows this or not. People are saying Pac is the best and he should be fighting the best. How are you going to call out Floyd and not fight him? People want to see Floyd vs. Pac not Pac vs. Margacheato.

My thing with it is this..We know Pacquiao is too fast and he's obviously stong enough for the type of boxers that come forward with little lateral movement. His last few fights have all really been tailor-made for Pacquiao. Clottey, Hatton, David Diaz and even Cotto to an extent. If he was to fight Margarito, the outcome would most likely not be any different from his last 4-5 fights.

Margarito would come in, try to walk down Pacquiao only to get caught with counters from all sorts of angles. Pacquiao would be too fast and strong enough to get a late stoppage. I'd really like to see Manny against a decent boxer with some good strength. Maybe him vs Andre Berto or even Luis Collazo. These boxers would actually bring more than 1 dimension to the fight if they were to meet up..

I really don't want to see Martinez-Margarito but that's just me. I'd like to see Martinez go against Paul Williams again or even agaisnt Yuri Foreman(if he happens to get past Cotto). I think these fights would be more exciting and crowd pleasing.

like others have stated, williams had next to no right trying to ask for 50/50 against the undisputed middleweight champ at a weight which williams as a fighter, holds next to 0 bargaining power other than the fact that hes a good fighter. He brings next to no attraction in terms of fanbase and really is just a guy boxing fans like and thats about it.

Regardless of the ****** saga between him and kelly, instantly asking for 50/50 and having next to no fans is just not logical at all, and had he not been so ******, wed be talking about williams right now, not martinez.

Regardless, Margarito shouldnt be fighting ever again, but if he has to, martinez deserves to avenge what happened to him as other have stated, its almost shameful Margarito has that win over him IMO.

Pacquiao should be targeting the mosley/mayweather winner, as it decides p4p superemacy, whereas martinez/margarito is really just another fight.

I sincerely dont know why you would even need to ask this unless you are intentionally looking to trash martinez, its not like you are known to be neutrally objective when it comes to manny pacquiao, or jumping to his defense.

what kind of question is that? if marg, who really shouldnt be fighting at all, is going to get a liscense to fight, or is gonna fight in mexico or argentina or wherever, Martinez deserves a chance to avenge that loss.

its not about what margarito deserves and more about martinez having the right to ask for whatever fight he wants in and around his division.
