Hes fat and extremely out of shape. Hes winning fights on sheer power and size.
Losing weight and getting in great shape will help his stamina, his footwork, and his speed. Getting in shape wont hurt him at all.
Staying fat and getting fatter will hurt him. Hell be just good but never elite.
not even close
he does a much harder workout than everyone in his gym including guys at 126 135 and 147. In fact, when they try to do the workout Hudson has him on they fail horribly.
his body type won't even lend him to be ripped. Juan Diaz has never been ripped and yet his stamina is was arguably the best during his reign at 135 in fact thats what got him over the hump in fights.
also when have you seen Arreola gassed? short of the Klitschko fight where he got pummeled and even then it was more the effect from losing blood than being tired.
he will never look like Haye or the Klitschkos but to say he is out of shape is wrong period
His stamina is not the problem, he's just noticeably slower and sloppier at 250+ lbs. He might work hard in training but he lets himself go out of shape in between fights. 250-260 should be his walking around weight, not his fighting weight, when he should be trained down to the best possible condition.
I thought he looked sloppy even when he was 230, but even then he still looked fat and was crushing people. So my beef is why are pople just consentrating on looks?
He could weigh 220 and you know what? He would still look chubby and he would still have a round face that just his genetics. People have to realize that Chris is just not built that way.

Exactly!!! NFL Offensive lineman are 340 pounds + and are easily 100 pounds heavier than Chris. They are all in great shape even if they have huge guts hanging out their pads.
You gonna tell me these guys are out of shape too??

his workout routine is serious
Hudson has him in the morning doing pyometrics and short blasts of sprints. Some of the stuff he does looks sick to do but he does it with little or no issue
You keep saying he isn't in shape so why is he able to fight at a pro level?
I seriously think you have a misguided view of what out of shape is. Out of shape is weezing and dying on the mat after 2 min of boxing. Out of shape is not being able to have a very good Boxing record against solid HW's.
Let's say what this really is Chris just isn't pretty enough for you.
so you think losing weight isn't gonna improve oreo-la hand speed or foot speed?
if he lugging around less weight, maybe he could increase his punch output.
I think you don't understand that being obese is not healthy.
Again I must clarify that I do not think he doesn't train, I think the opposite. Based on the pictures I've seen of him out of training, he must have been close to 300 pounds. To go down to around 250 lbs from that takes a lot of work. However he shouldn't balloon up to such high weight in the first place. Boxing is a 24/7 job.

THEN he starts his boxing training
his training can be as vigorous as he wants and if what you say is true, then I got no problem with the training. but he can't be out eating in-n-out burgers 12pm at night. he needs to get disciplined with his diet.
I'm not asking him to look like a bodybuilder, he just should be more professional about his job.
Which picture do you think looks closer to his natural fighting weight?
Looks have nothing to do with being a professional or not professional. He's the one fighting not you so how does your expectations on what Arreola should look like determine how professional he is or isn't?
Again this is not a beauty contest and he looks fat either way plus which of thoses pictures was Chris younger in?
