Froch does deserve credit if he beats Kessler, in Denmark. But lets take things into prespective here. Ward is a 25 year old who was still a prospect when he defeated Kessler, a 30+ fight fighter. Froch also has allot of experience. That's why people say Ward may be the best. Dirrell also impressed me allot, he beat both Abraham and Froch, was awarded only one of those, true but he was also a prospect with 18 fights when he fought Froch! How many fighters under 20 fight would even be competitive against a champion? And he beat him! It wasn't awarded as such but he whooped Froggy's butt.

Froch has several good wins too over (at the time) top 10 super middleweights:

      Pascal
      Taylor
      Dirrell

If he can beat Kessler in Denmark (without the advantage of a crooked home referee like Ward had) then that will be impressive.

Kessler become number SMW due to default. When Calzaghe left, someone had to fill the void and Kessler happened to be there. And Ward embarrassed and exposed him badly. Kessler will lose to Froch and Green

I laugh at how you complain about rooked home referees. Dirrell was robbed at England and the ref made it even worse. All those rabbit punches went unnoticed

Pascal fight was close and could have gone either way

Nonsense, Froch won the fight with Dirrell. You need to accept that.

Ward should have lost by DQ to Kessler - that last headbutt was OBVIOUSLY deliberate and nasty.

Really any fighter deserves respect but yes, if Carl wins then thats Pascal, Taylor (away), Dirrell, and Kessler (away). They're arn't many fighters in his division with that kind of resume.

his last 4 wins would be- pascal(current wbc lhw champ) taylor(former middleweight champ) dirrell(just schooled abraham who everyone was nut hugging) and possibly kessler.

                give the guy some credit

Froch has arrived as a boxer solely on the basis he is a hard boxer to beat, even now he has stepped up in class, fighting good boxers.

When Froch was coming up through the ranks people said when he faces a decent boxer he will be knocked but it hasnt happened yet. So until Froch loses he will be a respected fighter. He only lost to Haye

Pascal fight was competitive, but Froch clearly won.

Dirrell however beat Froch in my opinion, although was very negative. Can you go to a Champions backyard, run all night and expect the verdict, while the champ is trying to fight?
