Arreola in awfull shape for Adamek fight

Arreola looks noticeably slimmer to me in those pics than he has in quite some time. I don't see what the big fuss is. Though I could completely understand the backlash he got for how he looked, physically, in his previous fights. Right here it seems like he's actually been working on getting the weight down.

Adamek was fighting at 175 when he was fully mature, from his mid-20s to his early 30s.

Arreola has not fought below below 230 since the age of 20 or so.

No doubt about it, Adamek is the naturally smaller man. And Arreola's boxing ability is underestimated by many people: he's not a brawler, he's a technically-skilled boxer-puncher with a lot of amateur experience.

Arreola is the worst possible heavyweight opponent for Adamek, except for the Klitschkos.

He came in at 229 for the Wills fight when he fought on the undercard of Mayweather-Baldomir.

Everyone says he's in such bad conditioned but again when has it ever effected him?


Some people have to realize that not everyone has the genetics to look a certin way no matter what weight they come in at.

My opinion is Arreola still looks fat even if he weighs 230.

Arreola will surprise a lot of people in this fight.Adamek has been predictable in his last few fights-he does the same thing-slowly circles you and throws a combo.
Arreola will pressure him and wail away at him.Even as big as Arreola is,he has never been slow and he has good power in both hands.People shouldn't judge him on the Vitali fight- this fight will be different...this fight will show that Adamek does not belong in the HW division...

He actually looks much better than he did for his last few fights. He appears to be about 245.

This isn't bad. He probably won't reach 230 like he said he would, but he'll llok better than usual. I honestly don't think he'll ever be slim again. Look at Eddie Chambers. The dude weighs in close to the Cruiserweight limit yet he still looks chubby, and I dare anyone to say he doesn't train very hard.

I'm just curious to see him at the weigh in.
