1..why is sturm elevated 2 super champion...

2.. why does mundine get another chance at a title... its the 3rd time.(4th including ibo) that hes been givin shots at vacant titles against inferior competition

Sturm is fighting with Universum. I don't think they wanted to strip him or hold up the contenders while the court battle continues. Golovkin will probably beat the brakes off of Mundine.

Sturm didn't look so super against Gevor last time out and really shouldn't have a strap at all after that fight.

So the WBA is finding reasons to make more contender belts huh?

Someone has to explain this to me. I heard Sturm wanted to be released from Universum and was willing to give up his WBA belt for that. I havent heard anything since, And now this.

Can anyone let me know what's happening with Sturm?

And I hope Mundine finally steps up and fights Golovkin.

So Sturm keeps his title but then why do we have this vacant title fight?

sturm was released from universum last november but universum is still saying he's under contract til 2012.
sturm expects to win his court battle with universum and return to the ring...possibly in the US for his next bout in the fall.

sturm's status is tentative at best and the WBA needs a champ so they can collect their fees.


also, golovkin will beat mundine's ass. i thought he'd be champ, but not like this. he hasnt done anything to deserve a shot.
