Martinez convincingly busted Pavliks face up and beat him. If you had Pavlik up by two in the 9th, you can't score a fight.

Martinez didn't adjust to anything, Pavlik couldn't see after he was so badly cut. Martinez being a smart fighter got aggressive when he realized Kelly couldn't see, but I don't call that adjustment.

I'm not saying that I don't accept a Pavlik loss, or that the fight could have gone either way. I'm just saying that until the cut that didn't allow Pavlik to see, he may have been ahead, or at least certainly closed the gap almost completely from the middle rounds.

Martinez aggressiveness is what cut Pavlik in the first place. You're not even making sense. Either that or you didn't see the fight. And yes Martinez did adjust.

Exactly. People are dumb.. Pavlik got cut AFER martinez turned the volume up. It's not like he got cut THEN martinez smelled blood. You guys are dumb. Martinez picked the volume up, and pavlik got hurt as a result.

          Idiots

I accept that first sentence, and I had Martinez up 1 by the 9th. The knockdown did not happen that late. I had something like 58-56 because unlike Lederman's scorecard, if i remember I gave Pavlik round 4.

ah **** it I was just rewatching rounds 6-9, I'm going nowhere with this...

Was on spring break when the fight happened so I couldn't get into my usual weekend fight focus.

              Edit:

I actually had this 115-112 for Martinez. The judges, who did gave Martinez a fair shake this time, agree with me. I think i can score a fight quite competently.

Yeah, he has nothing but tough fights left it seems and he has his 50th fight next so the finish line for him is not without its hazards to say the least.
