i think team pavlik feels that based off of the style differences between williams and martinez that williams would be the better fight for kelly and i agree with that.

I like this fight, but there's almost no chance of it happening. I can't see Pavlik coming back down to 160 to fight a "meaningless", when he can get a rematch at the Middleweight Championship of the World.

Would still be a great fight even though it's lost some luster.

Martinez won his fight with Williams in my eyes and many peoples eyes too, he beat Pavlik. Since Pavlik just fought him, let Sergio have a optional title defense against Margo or Cotto and then get the winner of Williams-Pavlik in a rematch.

Im all for Williams vs Pavlik it will be a excitng fight and it will prove like I said, who really deserves to fight Sergio again.

Its a much better style match up for him as he should have no problem hitting Paul who will be right in front of him the whole fight and if he were to win, its a great way to restore credibility.

You could say that but Paul might give him even more trouble because not only did Martinez prove Pavlik can't beat a moving target (Williams can move too) but he showed Pavlik's chin isn't all good and if you hit him with combination's then he can't do anything. Paul is a come forward fighter but he moves his head aswell and can take a shot, possibly better than Pavlik can. Plus Paul is a much bigger puncher than Sergio is.

I can't see Arum letting Pavlik near Williams.

why not? because kelly had a rematch clause and he already said he's going to exercise it so there's really no point in talking about anything else. In my opinion he had sergio figured out after the 5th round and was controlling the fight until the second cut opened up. I thin pavlik will get him this time around.

u guys act like williams lost the fight. news memo!!!he won the fight!! in fact most scorecards had him winning. it was a really close fight, no gift decision.

williams dnt gotta fight pavlik to get a rematch. if martinez wants a rematch, he shld just ask for one.
