He deserves about the same amount of credit as Larry Holmes gets for beating Ali.

That's the way I remember it too. Evander Holyfield pretty much guaranteed a Tyson KO. I'm one person that believes Lewis would have beaten any version of Tyson for a lot of reasons.

I don't know of any credible people that picked Jones to beat Calzaghe. But I know of plenty that picked Tyson to beat Lewis. And Hopkins is 45 so anything can happen to him in a fight at this point.

The people that picked Tyson to win, did so because of Lewis' chin more so than believing that Tyson was the better fighter.

Very little. Tyson was a shadow of his former self after he got out of prison. He never recovered from it.

The people picking Tyson were fans who were HOPING for a last glimpse of a young Iron Mike. I was one of them, but he was done.

If Lewis fought a mid to late-80s young agressive Tyson who knows how that would've played. If Im not mistaken, they both trained together under Cus D'amotoat one point.

Cus died before Tyson won the title. The heaveyweight division when Tyson was at his best ****** ! Old Larry Holmes, small micheal spinks, Fat tony tubbs, stoned pinklon thomas, scared bonecrusher smith & a stiff frank bruno. Tony Tucker gave him a hell of a fight but who was he ? Lewis would have taken Tyson at any point.
