JMM was universally regarded as the # 2 P4P fighter at the time he fought Floyd. And Floyd was coming off an almost 2 year layoff. So that could explain why he had better odds than Mosley. But as always after Floyd beat JMM, it was quickly discredited for various reasons by the haters.

The online polls have Floyd at 57/43 and some are as close as 52/48.

But when it comes to putting money down, it is all going Mayweather's way.

They will get closer once the fight gets closer. Give it a week we shall see. I would be shocked if they stayed this wide.

Anyone in Vegas, do you know the odds at the major Casinos?

          4/1 is too wide.

the gamblers are not biased and know mosley is shot
The gamblers dont set the odds by what they think. They set it by what the public thinks and they know that in big fights, there will be alot of mainstream people betting and all they know right now is Floyd & Pac

I don't know about this Forum but in most other forums before PBF vs JMM, Mayweather had about 85-90% of people who thought he would win it. Alot of people even thought he would be able to get a KO which turned out wrong.

I think if the odds on Marquez were relatively close it was because he was the only elite Mexican fighter at the time which surely brought out alot of Dineros on their boy. Hatton also had that kind of backing with the brits who are generally huge gamblers.

Mosley doesn't have that kind of demographic backing.

The gamblers DO set the odds by what they think. Because they ultimately bet what they think.

I was thinking that when he said gamblers, he meant the guys that set the odds
