Valero is an *******, this really shows what kind of a person he was.

*******s don't kill their wives, or even anyone for that matter. they're just pain in the ass. I say he's ****ed in the head, w/c is a completely different story. He was a very angry man, channeled that emotions in boxing and what do you get? KO king. But anger combined with drugs and unstable mind, what you get is exactly what we see in Valero. I say goodbye champ, I'm praying his kids will find sense from these tragedy and learn a valuable lesson in life. (though, it doesn't have to be this tragic, but things happen)

Eloiza Vivas, the mother of Edwin Valero, blames the legal system of Venezuela. She says the system failed her son, who was very ill from over a decade of drug and alcohol abuse.

"The authorities of this country are responsible for everything.*It's true that*I have*to take the*blame for not saying anything, but Edwin was very ill. He was using drugs since age 18 and drank a lot," said Eloiza Vivas. it's hard to know what a grieving mother is Actually going thru in times like this , cuz of course I'm not one , but to say the system is to blame for EVERYTHING,maJority of the responsibility has to go thru the parents or if she is the only parent since he was a kid she should take the responsibility in teaching what's rite or wrong.Don't know his whole story if he has been medically diagnosed with mental disability as a kid so that I can't really speak , I'm just speaking on her comments . I know not everyone is perfect and at some point some people will experiment with drugs just to see what's it's like or make a mistake but to let it control u, kill people,then urself or to get in constant legal trouble sounds like he didn't get the proper "home training" whatever it may be To decipher the consequences while doing these actions and what it may present itself.

The myth of him losing his mind over the last year is busted. Valero has been violent all his life. He made up stories of gunmen to get away with it and when he realised that he wasn't going to get away with it he killed himself. So people stop defending this murdering coward.

Dude you have no idea how much of a dream fight this was of mine. I used to think in my head of how each successful fight with the eventuality of them facing off in like summer or fall of 2011.

I probably use to think and probably believed in the saying, "everything happens for a reason." but really its probably more like "**** happens, and more **** happens from the initial **** that happend"

Sadly, lots of boxers do. There are numerous fighters still champions today that have had charges brought against them for this.

Anyway, it's kind of sad and awful at the same time. Sad for the fact that the poor woman lost her life needlessly to a ****** psychopath after obviously being traumatised over time. Awful that the world and boxing as a huge international sport lots what was obviously going to be one of its major future stars with massive fan attraction. For as highly skilled as the guy was, and he was incredibly talented, he was, like Pac, a fan friendly KO machine. Just what this sport needs right now.

I can't see another guy like him coming along for quite some time. Very tragic though circumstances though and what is the most horrific part is that all of this could easily have been prevented as it was known he had serious violent tendencies and a very unstable mental capacity. If he had been treated or something and his wife been able to get away from him then none of this might have happened, but him being a star there meant no one was going to do anything about it. Even his own family who had to have known everything all along and would have known something like this was bound to happen.

I dont know about all this. But its a bit shady that a pro boxer can train at that level and be an addict and alcoholic. That doesn't make sense. They find no murder weapon. And remember earlier before his wife was shot, and it was not by him. So lots of loose ends around his last months.
