They don't care about alcohol dude. It's only banned substances such as performance enhancers and drugs, such as weed, coke, meth, etc.

Technically you could be on shrooms and fight if you wanted to, they don't test for it. Good luck fighting anyone on shrooms though, heh!

it was reported that Valero's wife was shot by unknown assailants who drove by the fighter's home in Merida, Venezuela on motorcycles this past Sunday.

According to an article that ran in the Venezuelan daily Meridiano this past Tuesday, 22-year-old Yennifer Carolina was admitted to a nearby hospital suffering from a gun wound to her left leg. The bullet reportedly entered her leg near the thigh and exited by her ankle. The story also mentioned that Valero brought his wife to the hospital.

Grasping for straws, he did it, it's unfortunate but he did it and he alone. If you're a target then why go back to Venezuela in the first place, the safety of your family should come first and foremost.

Surely if Valero stabbed his wife and then went downstairs to confess, they will have found the murder weapon.

All I can do is wonder, why do the crazy/****** ones like Valero, Ibeabuchi, etc always get all the talent? If I had his power I wouldn't be wasting my time using Coke or killing my wife, I would be like Floyd, counting money in my mansion. Its just no fair.

As I said in my post, weed=marijuana, and it is a banned substance.

Personally I don't think it should be, if anything it makes your response time slower and your aggression is nonexistent. You have never seen an Aggro guy on weed.

Some people say it gives "unfair advantages" such as lessening pain and acting as a painkiller substitute(for example, Nick Diaz beat the crap out of Takanori Gomi and got a No contest result instead of a decisive KO victory for beating him in Japan, just for testing positive for weed after the fight).

If anything, weed is a DISADVANTAGE, but nonetheless it is on the list of BANNED substances in drug tests for professional contests.
