We don't know what really happened, and we might never know. Sad loss, I was becoming a big Valero fan.
Valero was murdered!

Doubtfull. He probably just came too and saw what he had done and realized he went overboard this time and there was no going back on it. I'm kind of surprised he didn't do it right after he killed his wife really. Either way serves him right.Comment

When I told my roommate that he hung himself in jail, his first comment was wondering whether he hung himself or whether someone took him out in jail.
I wouldn't rule it out.
Although, the way most of the articles have been written makes it sound like he was the only one in his jail cell, so...
I'd definitely lean heavily towards suicide, but there could be a possibility that another inmate did him in.Comment

i know venezuela is as politically unstable as cuba i mean if valero pissed the wrong people off they coulda framed him from killing his wife and then killed him
venezuela media is controlled by the goverment and could easily happen
to the rest u are just ignorant of the situation ive actually been in caracas and maracaiboComment

You guys can take this with a grain of salt and don't think that I completely think this way. It's 70/30 in favor of Valero really committing suicide. Read these 2 posts I made.
I am skeptical about this. What if Venezuelan police or inmates killed him? I know that with his psychological problems, it's highly possible that he indeed killed himself. But with all the cover-ups and corruptions in third world countries(Which I am from myself and know how corrupted they are), it's not out of the question that Valero did not kill himself, but he was killed by some other people.
I would also like to add, you don't need a lot of money to get someone killed in jail by people you know, in these countries. Valero's wife's family could have paid off some inmates to do this job. A boy that lives around where I live in DR, got ****d about 10 years ago, by a man. That guy that did it was gonna be sent to jail. immediately, the boys' father paid off some criminal friends in jail before the man was even sent, to **** the guy that ****d his son. They did it, and police didn't give a damn.Comment

Valero admitted himself that he murdered his wife and then realising that he had ****ed his life up decided to take the cowards way out by suicide. Thats the facts.i know venezuela is as politically unstable as cuba i mean if valero pissed the wrong people off they coulda framed him from killing his wife and then killed him
venezuela media is controlled by the goverment and could easily happen
to the rest u are just ignorant of the situation ive actually been in caracas and maracaibo
You are making up wild speculations to justify what Valero did without any proof what so ever to back it up and now you are even saying he might be innocent... Again without any proof to back it up. Man I know you where probably a huge Valero fan but you need to face it. Valero was a psychypatic murderer and believe me he will not go to heaven... He will go to hell. Deal with it.Comment

A violent boxer with reported alchohol, drug and anger problems (plus and old head injury) murders his wife, makes a confession, then later finally realizes what he did and kills himself in jail.Im telling u all the facts we know are what the venezuelan goverment is reporting and we all know those guys arent reliable
no one really knows what happened down there, valero was too much of a good sport to do this, i think it was a setup by the goverment or the mafia all along
rest in peace champion, i hope u are up there knocking out angels in the heaven
we will not stop supporting u and we'll make sure the true culprits are found
Yet you want to believe his death was a political conspiracy?Comment
