A few eyebrows were raised when junior middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo no-showed Monday's final press conference to promote this weekend's HBO televised doubleheader at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. I cant believe youll are hating at Angulo this guy is a beast a very talented boxer even his record is good 17-1 hes been fighting very tough opponents, prospects, etc & his loss he was sick & still fought & made no excuse infact this guy will fight anybody & i mean anybody! Hes not like a Khan, Berto, etc (cough) overrated (cough) overprotective ---> Alfredo Angulo is a real prospect who fights real fighters

what a *****. I was already rooting for Julio, now i hope he brutally KO's him. Perhaps having that sham WBO belt has given him a big head. If he manages to get past Julio hopefully Shaw will feed his protected ass to Dzinziruk the real WBO champ so he can embarrass Angulo. Make him look like the 1 dimensional chump he is.

Are you kidding? You think he is first tier? He only has 18 fights and last time out he got beat handily by Kermit Cintron. And he's barely fought any decent opp. He's a decent fighter and I like him. But HBO doesn't owe him anything. When he fights a bigger fight after Julio and wins, maybe he can start getting more credit. I mean they keep putting the guy on Hbo as it is that should be good treatment enough.
