He is like an Andrew Golota, he has the skills but always seems to fall apart when things matter most.

True, but his skills greatly exceeds Golota. Golota never had the quickness kirk has. I really thought he would be able to beat VK with his speed. But when i saw him walk in at 270lbs, i knew he was in trouble. He gave away his best chance.

Yeah, Johnson really dissapointed me in the VK fight. It looked like he didn't train.

kirk only real loss was against vitali, his dq against ruiz was dumb that last shot didnt even faze ruiz and was borderline low. had that fight gone the full twelve rounds, i think kirk would have won.

if johnson can get into shape and stay motivated there is no reason he couldnt be one of the champions

the ruiz fight was BS, Ruiz realized somewhere in the fight that he didn't have a chance in hell, so to tried to get Kirk DQ'd most of those shots where not low at all, but ruiz played the ref. the only rounds ruiz won where ones where the ref took points.

I agree with you and fix that he could be a player in this division. He has talent without a doubt.

I lived in Nova Scotia for a while, in the city where Kirk lives and trains. He has absolutely no respect or reputation as an athlete in that entire side of the Continent, not just his hometown.

Why? 'Cause he's too ****** to see his own potential and make some serious committment to be a boxer.
