blah, blah, blah!!!! kelly shouldnt have gotten hit in his face so hard & he would have not gotten cut in the first place. dont pass the blame on the cutman. he did a ****ty job but stilll, pavlik got busted up by good solid punches.

I know man. I could tell by the way you posted. It seems a lot of cats are just reading the comment and ignoring who actually said it.

All the credit to Sergio, he fought a brilliant fight. I thought Pavlik was gracious in defeat giving full credit to Sergio. All he said was the cut was bothering him (how could it not, it was dripping right in his eye). Cuts are part of boxing and I don't think Kelly would blame anyone but himself for getting cut.

This fight was bitter sweet for me because I really like both fighters about the same amount. I was gonna feel the same regardless of who won.

I'd love to see a rematch because I thought it was a very good, back and forth, action packed fight.

your corner is important, but kelly doesn't look like he's a smart fighter anyways, martinez is bettter overall..i really thought kelly would win because of how big he is,but he's just not a smart fighter, doesn't know how to attack

I think Martinez still would have won but he seemed to get even more vicious when the blood started trickling out all over...

And you can't say the cut didn't mean anything cuz Pavlik was in the fight and then was back to doing nothing when all that blood exploded all over his face...

I still think Martinez wins a rematch...unless Pavlik turns into a dog and tries to catch him cold early...

I dont know if it would have changed the outcome of THIS fight, but a good cutman is ALWAYS a wise investment in a big fight. Guys like Stitch Duran, Jimmy Waldrop, Joe Souza, Danny Milano, Joe Chavez, etc can in fact change the outcome of a fight.....................

Hopkins cost y'all the middleweight belts!!! Martinez just finished what Hopkins started and that's beating the one-dimensional fighter. Pavlik has to learn how to be agile and not do the robot all night. Until then keep getting slice and dice in every fight. What he need is a Emanuel Steward, that Jack is whack!!!

Pavlik needs professionals in his corner, not people telling him to "double the jab" when he's losing and cutmen who don't know how to treat cuts.

He may still recover from this loss but he has to take his job more seriously. It seems like he wasn't truly prepared for Martinez's movement and took quite a few rounds to get going.

poor strategy, poor execution of any plan, and poor match making......... not to mention poor trainer and fight advice during the fight.

the loss weighs on lowes and pavliks shoulders

not to forget, martinez fought a hell of a fight!!!!!

                    lowe is a joke.

well, I gotta admit pavlik was coming on until the cut wouldn't close.
