Ok... I guess you also think Martinez, Mayweather, Dirrell, etc etc are also runners... Boxing is to hit and not get hit.

Briggs haunts other boxing sites (especially that one from the "East") with his hatred of the Klitschkos, a lot of which is race-based. He's another one of those who think that "white boys" have no business beating up on him and his much more manly black brethren. I guess those "white boys" include Sultan Ibragimov, a white ******, who coasted to an easy win over Briggs and took his title away. Briggs's ass-licking letter to Haye indicates that his steroid bills have left him pretty much broke -- and I'm not sure that Haye is interested in the kind of race-baiting rhetoric that Briggs usually engages in. Haye says a lot of ****, but usually stays away from the black-white thing, which might work in America better than it does in the UK.

Hey Shannon, your second-to-last fight you got DQ'd for roiding --now you beat a tomato can with one punch and you're trying to say you're a contender? Don't go away mad, pineapple head, just go away.

Haye knows he hasn't got the best chin in the world, so it would be very foolish to stand and trade at heavyweight. I still think he's a reasonably exciting heavyweight [the Valuev bout aside.] The Klitschkos are very good, but people like to see a scrap from time to time. Even if someone goes out on their shield against the Klitschkos I think people would respect that. Something similar to when Briggs fought Lewis.

People want to see these fighters give it there all.

Haye isn't very good in that case. He shipped plenty shots from Ruiz, and would have hit the deck in the first round if not for the ropes saving him. Haye Fanagers should watch his last two fights again, he doesn't take a step forward. I suspect it's because he has a glass jaw and is **** scared, which would also explain the repeated rabbit punching. It's worked so far, but there are bigger badder fish than Valueless and Ruiz! There are probably at least ten fighters out there who would KTFO Haye, no wonder the Klits want to be the first to burst his giant bubble and collect the dough plus paper belt.

Well, Briggs is the one who brings up Haye as a topic in the letter posted here, so it's natural that Haye is part of the conversation. You're over-reaching with that remark. Briggs's, "hey brother, we don't need those white boys, we can stage our own manly great fight" theme is obtuse to the extreme. Briggs versus Haye would be nothing different than Haye versus Valuev, with Davey running around trying not to get hit by the big guy, and Briggs running out of gas trying to chase him around. Exciting? Heh heh.

I haven't heard anything from Briggs to indicate his dislike for the Klitschkos is race related. Can you provide any proof of this? If that is the case then it's obviously not acceptable, but Briggs usually comes across as a rather decent chap who talks to fans and what have you. There are racists out there from all sections of society, but it's worth remembering that most of the dislike/disinterest for the Klitschkos simply comes from people who find them a bit boring and lacking personality.

Simply stating that all of this is race related is silly really. It just boils down to them not being very exciting. Any other reasons for dislike or disinterest of them would be in the small minority category.

If you call winning by MD against Valueless working well...

Ruiz brought the fight to him and was rabbit punched by the coward. Haye will duck the Klits, just like Bowe ducked Lewis, and milk his PPV Fanagers and paper belt against dudds and old men.

It'll work for him as long as he fights guys who have little boxing skill (Valuev), or are totally shot and over-the-hill (Barrett, Ruiz). Even Barrett and Ruiz both should have been credited with knockdowns against Haye, but mysteriously weren't.
