I would be happy with Martinez vs Williams or Pavlik next.

What big payday is that, Milton Friedman?

The Boardwalk hall was half-full , there is no PPV revenue, and Kelly's stock is plummeting.

If Kelly couldn't put butts in the seats for this fight, do you think it would improve next time?

HBO is more interested in a redux of a FOTY. Trust me, Keynes.

Wheres Martinez fan-base at? Why does it have to be Pavliks fan-base and not Martinez's?

Well the rematch clause is there man, Hbo were going on about it, it will happen if Pavlik wants it. But i agree its last chance really for Pavlik, unless he just goes and fights Williams and then takes on Martinez or something..

But if Pavlik doesn't get cut and it goes down to the last 4 rounds its a toss up imo cause before the ninth it was very close. Im interested in the rematch for sure though as i'd like to see Pavlik/Williams which is unlikely to happen unless Pavlik beats Martinez.
that's not what i saw. the few rounds before the 9th looked like both fighters stalled and the momentum of the fight went in neither fighter's direction. not once did i feel pavlik start to really come alive in the fight.

if the rematch happens, i'd still favor martinez. he was still pretty fresh in the later rounds and he can win on activity and movement while negating any of pavlik's offenses.

I think Pavlik will take the fight. Think it will be the biggest pay day for him.

Well don't get me wrong he didn't dominate those 4 rounds or anything but i thought he was winning them. Props to Martinez though he cut him and stepped up and won those last 4 clear, i'd probably favor him too unless Pavlik gets rid of that terrible trainer and cutman
