They are the biggest fleas I've come across on BoxingScene. Let's see him fight an elite fighter outside of his comfort zone instead of the comfy confines of Canada. I notice that everytime that Bute is in danger or against the ropes the biased ref gets in between him and the other guy. Miranda was at one point beating on him against the ropes and then the ref broke up the action. He's a mediocre fighter who benefits from home cooking.

i remember that happening. they just had a nice exchange that miranda got the better of and all of a sudden the ref breaks up the action to warn miranda for a low blow that didnt exist. he took his sweet ass time warning him as well.
i was like "ohhh sht, another marlon wright!"

They aren't willing to touch Hopkins with a ten foot pole. What are you talking about? Bute and Dawson are regulars on their network now. And if he's too small to fight Dawson, then why does he want to fight Hopkins? Hopkins and Dawson are the same fuckin size.

Say whatever you want, his last 3 fights have been damn exciting.

Knocking out Miranda after his idiot Superman Pose has quickly become a favorite moment of mine. Say what you will about Miranda, but a) Andre Ward (one of Bute next perspective opponents) didn't knock him out, and b) Kelly Pavlik had to barrage him into oblivion to TKO him.

Bute placed a perfect 1 punch KO. He's got some slick punches, athleticism, power, and so on. I love a great celebration, formal boxing can kiss my ass.

That said, sure, we should see him in some other fights.
