8 or 9 pounds will not make a lot of difference as far as tyson's chances at being heayweight champion again are concerned, tyson just dosn't have what it takes to beat the likes of a klitschko, he will however make easy work of journeymen like McBride.

you're talking ****, Paul. If he weighed 211 pounds he'd bomb out Vitali, Brewster and Byrd in a single night. Truly he can reign again.

Yeah it makes a huge difference. Before Tyson went on the long layoff from biting Holyfield's ear his highest ever weight was 222 pounds vs Evander Holyfield. When he came back from that long layoff he was clearly a diminished fighter and he always weighed in at the high 220's except against Golota he was 222 and 225 vs Entienne.

And his record above 230 pounds

            7th round TKO of Nielson
            L Danny Williams KO
            L Lennox Lewis KO

They used to say Tyson was out of shape if he weighed even 220 pounds like he did vs Tucker which was not one his better performances and he was 220 vs Douglas. He was 222 vs Evander Holyfield in the first fight.

Tyson record below 220 pounds (undefeated except for the DQ against Holyfield)

Do you reckon if Karen Carpenter was a boxer she'd KTFO out of James Toney, McKay?

What is Karen Carpenter really skinny or tone or something? Is that the joke? YOu cannot deny the solid points I make about Tyson's weight.

Tyson undefeated below 220 pounds except by DQ

1 win 2 KO losses above 230 pounds.

2 losses between 220 and 230 Buster Douglas L KO Evander Holyfield L TKO.

if you think a man who is 5'9 233 pounds of muscle cant compete you got a biased opinion he is stronger the any heavyweight by far.. every inch of height equal five pounds scientificly klitscko would have to be 283 to equal the strength of mike tyson and tyson is faster

Mcbride is a dead man. Anyway if Tyson wins this fight and one more fight after that he will be in line for a title eliminator. I honestly think Tyson can still ko Ruiz, Byrd, and Toney, and Brewester. I dont know about Vitali but if he strings together a few wins, who knows it could happen.
