Pavlik is in a tough spot. He looks like **** above 160, but it's getting harder and harder for him to make MW. I think he could maybe beat Stieglitz and Froch at 168, but he'll get dominated by most of the world class talent there for sure. He still is no worse than third at MW, so he better stay there as long as he physically can.

Maybe, but I don't think so. Jack Loew was excellent in the corner tonight. He was brutally honest, and told him exactly what he needed to hear. His training routine seems to fit Kelly perfectly, and I just can't see anybody else improving him much more. They both seem to speak the same language, so to speak.

Pavilik is good, I hate it when you lose once or twice people just write you off nd say your done or he's done, honestly its really ****** pavilik is a threat to anyone. Its very hard to look good against a slick southpaw like sergio. If sergio would of lost tought I would still have his back I don't give up on fighters after one or two losses

Yeah, I talk **** about the guy cuz he reminds me of a KKK member, but he's still a great fighter w/ underrated defense and intelligence, a lot of heart and great punches.

Pavlik deserves another shot on the major networks imo for sure.

There's no shame in losing to Martinez who is just a special talent.

Don't give up on Pavlik just yet.
The loss definitely hurts pavlik but you can argue that the cuts really played a huge part in him losing

Of course they played a huge part, but they were caused by great punches by Martinez.

Thats just part of boxing though.

Honestly, I still think he could win a rematch even though Sergio's a stylistic nightmare for him (and a ton of others lol), as I think he now has some answers to Sergio's style that he didn't have coming in tonight. Also, I could have been seeing **** but to me he looked soft, even for him. Maybe he gained too much weight in between fights...

EDIT: Just wanted to add that I don't mean to discredit Sergio's win tonight as he proved that the Williams fight was no fluke and that he really is a world class fighter, just as Kelly showed some grit by fighting the last few rounds wearing a bloody mask when others may have quit.
