I know HBO made it seem like it was "make or break" but Pavlik is still a tough out for anyone and should not be written off that quick.

Yeah, I talk **** about the guy cuz he reminds me of a KKK member, but he's still a great fighter w/ underrated defense and intelligence, a lot of heart and great punches.

Pavlik deserves another shot on the major networks imo for sure.

There's no shame in losing to Martinez who is just a special talent.

Don't give up on Pavlik just yet.

      So would I.

But I don't think Pavlik can do much against Martinez tbh.

I agree with u, he just lost to Hopkins and Martinez, he should get a fight against Sturm even if he has to go to Germany. He could bounce back.

No, thats exactly what HBO does... they'll give less than a **** about Kelly Pavlik by 2011.. watch..

Pavlik is still a terrific fighter, he was simply outmatched tonight, and honestly I think Martinez was one of the two toughest opponents Pavlik could've faced coming away from that Hopkins defeat

Good point. No shame in losing to Sergio.

People say he was classy tonight, and I don't see it. He was still a smug little prick in the interview ready to give an excuse for losing. He was too small to fight Hopkins. Now he's weight drained after losing to a guy who he outweighed eleven pounds. Lol. I think Pavlik is a better fighter than what his most hardcore detractors are willing to give him credit for though. But he is beatable and he will be beat in the future if he steps up again.
