why the surprise? tons of top level amateurs and pros start boxing when theyre 6-8. its no different from the neighborhood kid that got really good at karate early in his life.

that's true. most of the top guys today like floyd, oscar DLH etc all started at that age. we just didn't have youtube back then to view their skills but it's nothing new and nothing too amazing.
