i have no problem with floyd thinking he is the best ever, he had a good point why be in the sport if u dont believe and work to be the best...

however, he is far from it, and we know this, everyone knows this.

what is bothersome is he has no right to say it until he fights everyone and cleans out the sport

he is far from the real warriors of hagler, hearns, leonard and duran.....

Well in fairness to May it's not the same time.In those day's ducking was un heard of really everyone fought everyone and money was never a big issue like that.Even in the Leonard vs Hagler fight it was more mind games then it was about money really.Floyd has fought some good fighters(Mostly in lower weightclasses)He also had some bad one's but I still think Floyd is a great fighter.If he pull's of a win vs Mosley I'll put him high on the atg list.I just think he bit off more then he can chew with Shane.

May cannot resurrect his career if he wins the Mosley fight to the status of NOBODY. He done shot his wad. He will go down as one who had the skills but no balls to back it up.

You can never again mention Sugar Ray Robinson or Ali in the same sentence again with May Jr. Jr. just don't fit.

As a big PBF fan I feel PBF IS NOT the greatest ever. I disagree with you saying he doesn't have the right to say he is the greatest ever. PBF has every right to say that just like everybody who disagrees has the right to say he isn't the best.

I like Floyd but there is no way he touches Ali or Ray Robinson.
Perhaps in the skills department but all around achievements
against competitions, Floyd can't compete. But those were
two different times. If Floyd takes on Mosley, Pac (If he wants it)
and some one like Paul Williams, then he has an argument. My thing
is, if Floyd was all about the money, then being the greatest wouldn't
matter to him much BUT if it does, he needs to take on some
dangerous guys from Mosley on.

You are right back then everyone did fight everyone but money was ALWAYS AND WILL ALWAYS BE IMPORTANT. The difference from then until now is to make good to great money you had to fight only the best. Now a days you got **** like PBF vs. Marquez and Pac vs. Clottey making each 15-20 million for bull**** fights. So they can put off fights they should be fighting cause they getting crazy money regardless of who they fight.

Man we been agreed on this issue the only thing we disagreed on was you saying he didn't have a right to say that. PBF does have the right to say that just like we both have the right to say we strongly disagree.
