exactly my point that's why people should stop comparing floyd with ali or tyson as being hated. ali fought in the day when racism against black americans was still a bit prevalent as well as his refusal to join the war against viets and some people must've mistakenly linking that to him as being hated but as a fighter majority of boxing fans around the world loved him

No, I don't love another grown man. But I respect his skills, his professionalism in the ring and his business savvy. I just don't hang off his balls like his fans do.

Floyd throws money at the camera, acts like a child, says **** like, "All of my **** is paid for, is yours?", then a groupie will make a thread asking why Floyd is hated and begin it with "You don't know the real Floyd".

Again, does Floyd have the most sensitive fans in the world?
That's a lie. There have been plenty of sympathy threads and theorys on why some fighters are not being "accepted" or why they are "hated" That's universal for all fighters fans. There have been plenty of threads with that subject for the Klitsckho's, Manny Pacquiao, Margarito, to Mayweather.

Juan Manuel Marquez is my favorite fighter. If this dude was on camera talking all this ****, being arrogant, throwing money in people's face, I wouldn't even think about making threads asking why people hate him. He made himself the heel and his fans need to understand that he WANTS people to hate him.

Thats the business savvy I respect btw.

I don't disagree with you. All I'm saying is that we will always see fans that are going to whine about people hating their fighter. And that's not limited to Mayweather.

Co-Sign, Floyd likes to be the villain, that's what makes him earn the greens, people pay to see him lose, IMO I dislike a fighter who claims to be the best without fighting the best available.

As of late Floyd has been getting riskier but it's because they're very few fights for him to cash out and retire, post Castillo, Floyd cherry picked his way to P4P status, the Mosley fight is the first fight in years that Floyd has a legit chance of losing, a fighter gets respect when they emerge victorious in fight they have a chance of losing, that was not Floyd's case after the Castillo fight. This besides his arrogance and ****iness is what irritates many fans…

I personally love watching him box. In the ring he's a genius and he does a good job of making himself hated, which all adds to the hype. Either way, he causes a reaction...and that's smart. Business wise.

As a human being he's all wrong. That's just my personal opinion. Even without the act...I know he plays on it but I don't see a good person underneath. I see scum. I dislike his entire family, all their values, principles...whatever you wanna call it. I just think they're all intensely unlikeable. He brought up Mosley's ex-wife and ****. That's totally out of line, but I hated him years before that.

Ali was ****y and brash but he had a great sense of humour. Floyd takes himself WAY too seriously and has a smugness about his confidence. So he doesn't have the charisma of someone like Ali. Yes, he's great. Yes, he's ****y, but it's not in a fun way like Muhammad Ali was. It's in spiteful to the rest of the world kind of way.
