Comments Thread For: Bute Crushes Miranda, Could Bernard Hopkins Be Next?

By Jake Donovan - He’s not part of the Super Six World Boxing Classic, but undefeated titlist Lucian Bute remains a super titlist as he continues to plead his case as the best super middleweight on the planet.

While he doesn’t necessarily advance in the rankings, Bute delivered a major statement Saturday night with an impressive stoppage of Edison Miranda in front of a sold out crowd at the Bell Centre in Montreal. [Click Here To Read More]

Bute/Hopkins, not an interesting fight at all imo. Hopkins is no more in the sport of boxing, retire please. Easy payday for Bute though.

People have been saying that about Hopkins for years now. Until I see B-Hop beat down, he will remain a top fighter in my book.

Bute would become the first man to KO Hopkins.

Nothing crafty about a man who relies on excessive clinching and headbutting to beat fighters with faster hand-speed then his own. Why do you even root for someone that fights like that? Just because he is a philly fighter who enjoys headbutting the **** out of Roy Jones Jr, Calzaghe, and Wright?

B-Hop isn'T THE FIGHTER HE USED TO BE. cAN'T BLAME HIM, HE IS AN OLD MAN, AND NOW, HE FIGHTS LIKE A LITTLE *****. HE HAS NO BUSINESS LEFT IN BOXING AS A FIGHTER.

B-HOP WOULD PUT ON HIS GREAT ACTING PERFORMANCE TO GET BREATHER AGAIN. ENOUGH OF THAT. BUTE CAN DEFINITELY STOP AN AGING AND ANCIENT HOPKINS.

Let's say he is a crafty dirty fighter.
