Pavlik was never going to do squat!! He hasn't beaten anyone except for an overrated Jermaine Taylor. He has always been one dimensional and slow as hell...yeah, he's a white hype job usually created by american boxing media...u ppl just need to face the facts that he was never anything special; he needs to continue to fight guys like Rubio. Before u guys say i am racist, if he fights Bute he's gonna get murdered.

that wouldn't be bad choice actually,he could get good money from Germany and he would knock Sylvester out

It has nothing to do with white hype, that term is so ancient. White America doesn't even know boxing exists, Kelly's skin color has been nothing but a disadvantage. Bute would destroy him but the more I see Bute fight its hard to not picture him destroying everyone at 160/168

Either way it was a good back and forth fight, Martinez is a great fighter, I just think if Kelly had a gameplan other than "plod around and punch at him" he would have been a better fight. Whether the wars with Taylor knocked Pavlik silly or his trainer sucks to mammoth proportions (most likely) his hands are still there but his strategy looks to be totlaly absent

I think that fight would be a big draw in Germany; the money should be good (as you said), and Sylvester's a very beatable opponent. However, thinking about it, Pavlik's days as a MW might be over. If he's gaining 18 pounds from the weigh in to fight day, he's obviously weight draining himself...

He should go up to 168and fight Bute. I mean I know that's a big step since he just lost again But that's what this game is all about. And it would keep Bute busy while waiting for any of th super 6 comp.

If Pavlik can make weight at MW, then why not fight the winner of Duddy-Chavez Jr.? The fight would be easy to make (they're all Top Rank fighters) and it would be a good tuneup to get Kelly back to his winning ways...
