On a inside battle like that i dont think the stats tell the full story, missed shots could be arm shots thta have an effect, etc, etc.

The only way to judge a fight like that is to see whos taken the worst beating.

I don't know why some of you are unwilling to achknowledge Ricky Hatton's tremendous victory. I mean, even Kostya Tszyu himself said after the fight, "I'm a proud man, I've been boxing for 27yrs and it pains me to say this. Ricky Hatton was better than me tonight in everyway".

I was shocked to see Hattons landed percentage, he's normally 45-50% every fight??

thanks, they sure did throw some punches. I was telling the idiots at my house the night of the fight that it was back and forth. They made it seem like KT was winning just because he wasnt holding Hattons arms down. It was a close fight and for what its worth I had Hatton up by one round, two tops after the 11th.

Can't believe people are still bitching, Kostya is my second favorite fighter but he lost. Yes the crowd was a factor, yes the ref may have turned a blind eye on some things, yes Ricky mauled him...but those things are all apart of boxing. What pisses me off is Tszyu quit. It also pisses me off that he got on the mic and stroked Ricky's nuts! This is boxing, you can respect a guy but don't ****ing bow down to the guy. Makes me wonder, seriously.

When have you ever heard of a fighter at the level of Kostya Tszyu grab a microphone and tell the world that he was beat up and the other guy was better. Then he goes on to tell the interview dude that he thought he was behind by 4 rounds or so. Great fighers don't think like that, period. Something was odd about the entire night.

Ricky has the potential to be a superstar.......but like I've said 100 times before. Get the ****ing kid outta Manchester and let's see him face some adversity. Please for **** sakes, Warren doesn't understand that if Ricky ruins the other 140 pounders here in the states he will instantly become a household name.

...I hate to break the news to you, but in your little clip I'm not even sure if Hatton lands a punch.

he lands a left hook at the end tht send tszyu into the ropes!

hatton won fair and square he did what he had 2 to win! it was hes tactics 2 stay close and not allow tszyu any room 2 throw punches he accepted he cud not beat hatton and hes desire period.

                      both great champions.
