where are the low shots stats, head butts, and excessive clinching, and ref turning blind eye stats????

even these stats show that kostya was the cleaner fighter!

to be honest, not really........i am still pissed off and i've watched the fight about seven times now and i am still spewing at the transpiring of events....

either way, i am happy for ricky too as he was much hungrier....anyway.

did u see the mundine - kessler fight? mundine has some talent and he will definitely be a world champion again.....he would kick lacy's and beyer's ass easy at the moment.

I didn't get a chance to see the mundine - kessler fight. It wasn't on any TV channels in th UK...

I don't wanna harp on about it, (Because it's becoming an old subject) but I watched Kostya Tszyu vs Shamba Mitchell 1 today, and after the fight the interviewer asked Kostya Tszyu, "It seemed as if you were trying to hold and wrestle Mitchell, was that your intentions?"

And Kostya Tszyu replied, ""Yes, I wrestle him, why not? it's a tactic!" - with a smile.

So I don't think Kostya Tszyu feels too hard done by the tactics Ricky Hatton applied.

either way, i am baffled at how kostya doesn't make any excuse at all...i mean not even normal excuses to do with himself...i.e i was too tired, late start, etc......

he is just a pure athlete and never ever makes an excuse.........i think he must be the only boxer in history and definitely the only boxing legend that has never stated a single excuse, be it of his own, or of th e opponent or referee....

            this deserves many hats off....

Yeah he's a true champion in every sense of the word.

I think he's passed the batton on to the right guy too... Ricky Hatton is very much like Kostya Tszyu in he's brutally honest, he's VERY respectfull, he doesn't do any trash talking.

hatton was down in the fight...the ref broke the rules it either a knock down or low blow..not a break in the action..and from the replay it was right on
the belt line...hatton numbers suck but his will was top notch..if tha fight was anywhere else tzu woulda won
