That 2nd cut was bleeding bad. When he went to his corner in the 9th, he said he couldn't see. Loew told him to shut up because he would have lost the fight by KO since the cut was caused by a punch.

It was a competitive fight at times, but Martinez is a a world class boxer. Martinez gained my full respect after tonight. I have nothing bad to say about the great Martinez. And Pavliks still a good fighter, he adjusted at times in the fight but when he got cut up he just couldn't deal with it. Martinez is amazing, he is the one who cut up Pav's face up.
