    Who even cares?

This is a non story imo. This happened 7 years ago.

It has no bearing on anything whatsoever so why is the N.Y paper even running it?

There is an important point in Burstein's e-mail: he says that in his "opinion", that Nate may be having *** with Victor Conte.

This is an experienced attorney putting something in writing. The "opinion" bails him out.

Just like when Big Floyd says that his "opinion" is that Pac uses steroids.

It IS a story. Because it speaks to who Shane Mosley really is.

            Pop,

Shane not testing positive is not relevant. And Oscar shouldn't have to petition.

That runs counter to what a regulatory body is supposed to be.

Other regulatory bodies have routinely issued suspensions or vacated victories under two different methods:

            1) The violator can be given an "administrative positive" like Tim Montgomery. This is most often done for either an admission of drug use, or overwhelming administrative evidence.

            2) The regulator, using updated information or testing methodology, can retest a retained sample. This is what happened in the case of Dwain Chambers.

            Your rationales are not salient.

              No it doesn't.

It means nothing. Mosley made a mistake and thats it.

              Non story.

If it was proven to be a pattern over his whole career it might be a story.

Conte has always been very dismissive and noncholant about the suit Mosley and his lawyer filed against him. He knows it is just an excercise to try and save face. Conte always likes to say he is a man "of full disclosure."

He explained to Shane what these drugs were, how they worked and that they were illegal. Shane needs to drop this frivilous lawsuit and get on with his life......maybe focus on PBF .....

That's because THG was undetecable. They also didn't test for EPO. The real reason is Oscar hasn't filed a grievance....and it's doubtful he will at this stage.
